Information You Submit
Information entered in a name, phone, or address search is sent to the third-party provider that operates the result service. The site's own servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains the information in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems create routine server logs, including an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Those records are reviewed in aggregate for service operation and usage patterns. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
Data is used to operate the service, diagnose technical problems, measure aggregate use, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or build individual visitor profiles.
External Services
Links lead to Montgomery County and Pennsylvania portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search services. The policy of the service receiving a submission governs that activity, including sponsored search results provided by another company.
Data Recipients
Hosting and support providers process server logs for the service. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Disclosure occurs when valid legal process requires it and not otherwise.
Security Practices
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes described above. There are no visitor accounts, passwords, or resident profiles stored by this service.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information to us, contact us so it can be deleted.
Your Information Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held by a service. Pennsylvania research for this project did not identify an enacted general consumer-data opt-out law that removes lawful public records from independent custodians. Because this service keeps very little, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Requests concerning records held by Pennsylvania, Montgomery County, or Cheltenham Township belong with the relevant custodian.
